Grand Breton tour 2024

After a few confusing delays at Manchester Airport caused by a power outage, Ryan Air were superb and got us there early. We found the hire cars (eventually), drove to Port Blanc, settled into our accommodation and enjoyed a paella cooked for us by the chef from the Rotisserie opposite. A few beers, some singing and off to bed.

Next day spent the morning dancing and relaxing in Vannes and danced at an Alzheimer’s meeting. Superb meal at a local creperie followed by singing back at our accommodation and bed.

Tuesday was so hot dancing was not easy, but we managed it! A walking tour of the Ile aux Moines was followed by a meal at Le Kraken in Le Bono and a superb session of song and music back at our accommodation.

Wednesday was even hotter. Two spots – Auray and Lamor-Baden followed by the most enjoyable meal with music and song at the home of our hosts Alain and Maryvonne.

Five thirty start for journey home on Thursday.
