Llandudno day trip

We boarded the 8.51 train to Llandudno having looked at a weather forecast that predicted rain. If ever there was proof of the magic of the Morris, this was it. It was a glorious day, not too hot and no rain – perfect for dancing.

During the morning we danced 4 or 5 sets on the prom in support of the Llandudno Lions who were holding an awareness day, then trooped off for lunch and refreshments at the Kings Arms, just behind the tram terminal. This proved, as last year, an excellent venue with a raucous supportive crowd – so we stayed, ate, drank and danced until it was time for train home.
