Return to action at the Piper

After a fairly long layout in May due to holidays, during which two Kinnerton Men attended the 60th Anniversary celebrations of Adlington Morris Men in Stockport, we had a full turnout of dancers and musicians at a new to us pub in Hoole - The Piper.

Whether it was the cold weather keeping people away or the chance to stay at home and watch the riveting election debate on TV the audience was small in number. It was real shame because it's a pub with definite potential to be one of our favourites and the landlord is very keen, which is always a bonus. Having said

that it was cracking, albeit rather chilly, night.

We'll surely give this pub another go.
